Searched but didn't see anything.

So you pay $9.95 a month for unlimited 2d movie screenings. That is covered with just one movie ticket now. It covers AMC and prytania theater in NOLA. anyone get it yet? How is it? Any restrictions they don't tell you about?

Oh snap, I didn't know it covered Prytania... I'll have to pick it up now that's less than a mile from my place.

Prytania is walking distance from my house too. It might be worth it just for that.

I bought one two weeks ago and the card manufacturer was so backed up on orders that they extended the week I was supposed to get it by 3 weeks.

Took me 7 days. I also signed up for Reel Rewards with the grand. Now I'm earning concession money through movie pass

I got it three weeks ago. They sent an email apologizing for being extremely backed up and said I'll have my card by the 8th.

If it covered the Grand in Kenner, I'd be in. I can't stand the other theaters now.
Reclining seats that are assigned. No having to get to the movie forty minutes early fire a seat.

It does cover it.

Only setback with movie pass is that you have to reserve your seats in person

Just used mine for the first time. No issues. It can be a little tricky if your theater has reserved seating, I guess, but other than that it is fine. Pretty cool that I can just use my Regal points for concessions now.

frick that.

I love just rolling past the ticket line and get straight is using my phone as my ticket.

I'm willing to pay a few extra bucks for that convenience

Last time I went to an IMAX at amc it had reserved seats. Can you use moviepass for IMAX? Also is it guaranteed 9.95 for a certain amount of time? Or can that change it next month?

It doesn't cover IMAX. But nothing is stopping you from just walking into IMAX or 3D movies if you have glasses

Actually I was wrong.

Certain theaters allow you to reserve seats from your phone. Granted, it's a pretty limited list.

Studio Movie grills the only place around me that allows it atm

I mean, it's way more than a few extra bucks at this current price point. I went and saw a movie today and already made my money back. If you're going to multiple movies a month, you're saving 30-40 bucks.

Just signed up. I know little to nothing about this service, but it seems too good to be true.

Yeah. Sounds great but I don't see a long term viability to it

I'm pretty sure the entire goal is to get investors. This price point is probably purely to get a ton of signups and make people see the value of it. In a lot of places, you'll save money if you're paying $25 a month and see two movies a month.

As in movie interests? Better way to gauge age groups, race, male/female attendance to movies? I could see that being part of the plan
