Hamill has reportedly already recorded for the film
I hate that it's going straight to DVD though. I'd easily throw some money at seeing that in theaters.

I'm definitely buying this one.

I thought he was done with voicing The Joker?

It's probably his favorite role ever. He'll do it as long as they want him to.

I wonder how they're going to handle the ending.

I would too. The Killing Joke is one of the all-time best graphic novels, so maybe those involved won't phone it in. The recent Batman DTV movies have good production values, but the story and writing usually falls really flat. Maybe that won't be the case here.

My body is ready, Hamill is the GOAT Joker. If done right, this can be unbelievable
Spoilers****
He even voiced him a little bit in the last Arkham game

They should handle it exactly the way the story did.

SPOILERS
if people are going to like the implication that Batman kills the Joker.
ETA: I guess he killed him in The Dark Knight Returns as well. I guess it's not a big deal.

I've seen that Kevin Smith video. It is really good. It is definitely left up to interpretation. I believe he did.

He said he'd come out of retirement from the start for the Killing Joke. Arkham was a bit of a curve ball, but he was always straight forward with this one. It's the definitive Joker story, so I don't see how anyone else could do it justice than the definitive Joker.

SPOILERS
I love the final panel of The Killing Joke. They have to finish the story with the same scene where it ends ambiguously.
IMO, Batman kills him and the final scene alludes to that with the white line that is crossed by mud and in the next panel the line is gone completely. Finally, after all their battles, Batman breaks his rule and goes over that line.
Beautifully done ending. You can't end that story any better.

I don't think that Batman killed him. Plus him shooting and paralyzingly Barbara is pretty damn canon.

I completely agree. Whether you think he did or didn't, we can all agree that they need to show the ending frame for frame exactly the way it is in the comic.

It's such an awesome ending. There is no "right" answer. It's up to your interpretation.

He 100% killed him. It's foreshadowed in the opening scene.

Conroy better be voicing Bruce.

I'm sure Alan Moore will love it.
