Stupid good episode. Roger was top dog in this episode.

Nah, Bob Benson needs to top tomorrow's MM power rankings on grantland. No matter how fricked up things are in the office, he's there with two coffees to help out Pete, Don, and the guys. Offering to pay for Pete's hooker? Dude's a true humanitarian, even if he can't do anything right. He took Pete's pisspoor Curious George joke in stride, too.

Great episode although it felt a little rushed to get to the merger. It was like "hey, let's do it without talking to anyone". It just felt too easy, but whatever, it moves the show forward.

The car doesn't matter as much as the fact that they got Chevy.

Don is such a hypocritical frick losing Jaguar.

I love Pete falling on the stairs. He's such a weasel. But I am glad he busted the FIL.

Peggy is chapped

Guesses as to the new name?

So gaining Chevy made up for losing jaguar and Vicks?

Are you sure? They're getting ONE car (a shitty car no less), not all of Chevy.

And is Peggy happy or pissed? On one side, she's a big swinning dick a at mid-sized firm now. On the other, she's back in Don's shadow.

No one knows that yet. Jaguar billings was only $3 million when they first brought it in.

Peggy did not seem happy whatsoever. It could have just been the shock value of it though.

I think she is pissed because 1. She wasn't consulted and 2. She has wanted to get away from Don to prove herself.

What she needs to do is put her big girl pants on and realize how great of a thing this merger is.

All she sees is that she has further to climb now. She is looking out for number one ONLY and gives not a shite for Don, the company or anyone else.

Bitch basically abandoned her only child because he might hold back her big career aspirations.

Good news for her - Don's been acting more and more like a partner and less and less like a creative director.

Didn't they tell her she would be in charge of creative at the new firm?

They told her she'd be in charge of copy. I don't know if that's different than being in charge of creative, though.

I think this merger will recharge Don, and set up a clash between him and Peggy for being in charge of creative, even though that is technically Peggy's title.

I'd agree if this were a few seasons ago. But there's only a season and a half left.

It seems like Don is growing as a character, and it seems like he's growing out of the Madison Ave lifestyle. Think back to the season opener when he was loving Hawaii because it was an escape from reality.

At the bar where they agreed on the merger, Don had been drinking because he was sick of the shite.

I think we'll see Peggy fully become the female version of Don Draper and Don will start to see himself more and more like Roger and eventually want out.

I think we'll see one final glimpse of "old Don" before he moves on for good.

Peggy was not told she would be Creative Director.

Peggy will be the Copy Chief.

Looks like Don and Ted will have to work out titles and responsibilities as they are both Creative Director at their respective agencies.
