A quick glance of Wikipedia shows that the Nova was a reconditioned Corvair, I think.

Are you telling me they used all of top of the line engineering technology available to them, and what they came up with was the Chevy Nova? GM deserves to go broke.

Vega--"the brightest star in the universe" sounds like something a PR team would come up with.
