I didn't realize she was making that much bank.

If she's gotten normal raises since she jumped ship and then came back with the merger, she'd be close to today's equivalent of $150,000/year.

When she jumped ship, she was offered somewhere around $19-20,000/year. Multiply that by 6.5 and you have today's equivalent.

I don't care what the critics say...this show sucks.

The only reason I watch this show is that I'm hoping against hope Christina Hendricks will be in a nude scene.

They probably won't do something that exploitive, but it would make the show interesting.

My wife and I agree it is a total bore. A show about people in a boring job. Big deal write a jingle for a boring businessman.

So you have watched a show for 7 years hoping someone gets naked in it. Makes sense.

Good start to the season, I liked the Don giving Freddie ideas story.

Also someone told me the 2nd half won't start back up until May 2015, is that true?

Yeah, that was weird. The more I thought about it, I think you may be right.

Meagan's "rural" bungalow fits in perfectly with the Sharon Tate theory.......I am guessing the delivery guy comes back and does something to Meagan, Don feels guilty and switches to drinking gin only..........

Yeah, I don't like the idea of Meagan living where she is and her agent gives me the creeps.

Best line from Don of this episode, while checking out Pete's real estate agent: “Those are some nice-looking properties".

The show is that boring yet you've continued to watch it for 7 seasons. Sounds like you need to find something else to do with your time.

I believe you're correct. I remember reading that they're splitting up this last season like they did Breaking Bad.

AMC milking their cash cows all they can.

Final season of WD will probably be split over three years.

Saying Pete was dressed like a hippie, when he was wearing a sweater tied around his shoulders had me rolling.

Also, when Ken tried to thrown Joan her earring with the patch on, and just completely missed

Unlike BB though, Mad Men will film all 14 episodes at once. So the second 7 will be in the can for almost a year.

True, it's not like they have other hit series to fall back on.

Ken was $$$$ in this episode, as always.

But where was my boy Harry Crane?

it's the best show on television where no one gets killed (except Lane's suicide) and there are no nude scenes
