The final act irritated me.

- Hey guys let's turn around and head right for that massive army that's been chasing us for two hours! Who's with me? Everybody? Huzzah.
- There were huge stretches of the final fight where Max is standing on the tanker in full view of 500 armed dudes chasing him, who for some reason aren't shooting at him
- Pretty convenient that Max and Furiosa have the same blood type, and that a patchjob transfusion puts a person with massive blood loss and perforated chest cavity back on her feet. Prometheus-level goofiness.

Overall, I enjoyed it though

Were you paying attention at all? Max was a universal donor.

1. They were trying to get back to the Citadel before the army could get back there, as it was undefended. They had nowhere else to go anyway, so why the hell not? It was the only green place.

2. It is almost impossible to shoot someone on a moving car from one moving car. The movie established that nearly everyone was a terrible shot (including Max). People missed him because it was hard to hit him.

3. He was type O negative, the universal donor, as his tattoo said. It would be very bad luck if she were AB positive, the rarest blood type, and the only one unable to receive O negative.

please tell us where they were suppose to go, especially since Max said there was nothing else around that would support life.

try shooting out the side of you vehicle driving 90+ and watch the bullet get taken for a ride by the wind resistance.

Are the oceans gone?
They mentioned driving on the salt for 160 days.
Even overland you should cross Australia in five days tops.

I would go south to Antarctica then.
If the oceans are gone then Antarctica would be nice possibly.

Might not just be a matter of finding water, it's fresh water they need. I think all the water is polluted, oh and it's a sci fi movie

oh. I get that. I'm wondering how they could drive in any one direction for 160 days over the "salt"

Is the "salt" what's left of the oceans??

That's what I was getting at. That comment.

This movie was good but nothing special, I think Tom Hardy said less than 100 words through the whole movie. It's worth a watch but not worthy of the hype it is getting.

yeah I though the first half was pretty entertaining, and then when they turned around it go to be a little much. I think what hurt it for me was the fact they pretty much were in the same setting for about 80% of the movie. The outfits, makeup and special effects were awesome though.

what was the chrome spraypaint they painted in their mouths before they planned to die? That was weird too.

Huh?That Chase scene was the best part of the movie and one of the best action sequences I've ever watched...the plot as rather lame so the action scenes had to carry the movie

I mean yeah it was good action, no doubt. I just meant too much in the sense of being on the same road doing the same shite.

I enjoyed it a lot but it's not as good as the breathless hyperbole around it. Hardy being a blood siphon for the entire movie while kicking arse at 110% was only one thing that irritated me. The final act was weaker than what came before it.

People have different opinions on things and I respect that. But this was a special movie in many ways.

This movie is one of those rare gems that told a brilliant story visually. Each character was well thought out and given individuality. Each individual vehicle had a past. Each action scene told a story. It was brilliantly conceived, IMO. Something new in an otherwise saturated genre.
