A guy rides in to town on Friday. He leaves 3 days later on Friday. How'd he do it?

They are pretty close. RotY was more fun. LBL has a more serious tone but still great. As a kid growing up watching them: 2a. RoTY 2b. LBL.

Um Bull Durham does not really fit in this convo.
Otherwise we would have to bring up The Natural, Major League, Field of Dreams, Love of the game etc.

I agree with this. The Runaround Sue montage puts it over for me and probably stood out to me as a kid more than any other sequence. I know it's cheesy but it was so damn catchy!

And mentioning Sandlot in this conversation is ridiculous. That would be like bringing up Blazing Saddles in a conversation debating what was better out of Wedding Crashers and Old School. Like Blazing Saddles, Sandlot is an all-timer that sits high above other greats. It's the goldstandard of its genre. Like Wedding Crashers and Old School, LBL and RotY are both great, memorable flicks in their genre.

Angels in the Outfield is a better mention as it's more on the level of the other two.

1. Sandlot

2a. Angels in the Outfield.
2b. LBL
2c. RotY

Little Big League but only because I was a huge Twins fan growing up - thanks to Kirby Puckett.

LBL for me for sure... the GOAT Ken Griffey Jr with a cameo, along with Randy Johnson, Lou Piniella, Ivan Rodriguez, Paul O'Neill, etc.

Pre-roid Barry Bonds is struck out by Henry in ROTY.

This is Rookie of the Year and it's not even close. Little Big League is pretty overrated, and isn't even in the same league as Rosenbagger.

A better question probably would of been Sandlot vs. Rookie of the year.

No, it wouldn't be because Sandlot is easily the best baseball movie, and arguably the greatest sports movie of all time (IMO, of course).

Idk how many times I have to say that these 2 were picked because of their extremely similar subject matter. AITO and Sandlot are both stellar movies but they aren't as closely intertwined as LBL/ROTY.

You can leave that part off. It's not opinion. It's 100% fact.

You and me are on the same page on that...I've never questioned why you chose those two. I was responding to someone else, bruh.

I know, I responded to your post because it was the most recent, not talking to you in particular.

Also, that's one of my biggest pet peeves on message boards.

"What do you like better, A or B?"
"C"

That's great and all but that's not the got damn question, if I wanted to know what you thought about C I would've included it in the op.
