I dont understand the infatuation with Lost. Did you have to watch the initial first episodes to understand the premise? I never could get it.

I watched all of season 1 the week before Season 2 came out. At that point, I was hooked. The anticipation week-to-week between episodes and especially between seasons will be hard for any show to match. Unfortunately, it didn't quite pay off in the end like people thought it would.
