Trailer

On episode 3, highly recommend. Really good show. Nissan is way in over their head.

Steve McQueen: The man and Le Mans is a fantastic documentary too.

The 24 Hour War is also a good watch. Produced by Adam Carolla and co. Get It On!

24 Hour War was one of my favorite 'LeMans' documentaries I've seen.

The new one in Prime is good, but i was hoping they would cover last year's race, with the Toyota shitting the bed on the last lap and the Ford v. Ferrari feud that got really ugly & controvesarial, I think the protest lasted weeks after the race too.

That looked pretty cool thanks for sharing

Can anyone explain to me what in the hell happened with the wreck in the first 12 seconds of the trailer? Literally just looked like the car caught too much air under the front end and did a backflip but I can't imagine they were going fast enough for that to happen

That was the notoriously aero-sensitive Mercedes CLR driven by Formula 1 driver, Mark Webber. Webber came out of the slipstream of the Audi in front of him to overtake and the suddenly loss of downforce caused the front end to lose all grip and lift. Mercedes actually had a few other of the CLRs do the same thing following Webber's crash and they decided to not only withdraw the cars from the race, but to also cancel the CLR program and get out of sport racing altogether.

Webber was doing in excess of 200 MPH when the crash occurred.

That crash is crazy, I felt bad for the kid in the series racing for Nissan.
The Nissan team captain honestly sounds like an idiot, keeps talking about how a gamer is going to win Le Mans. Yea, it might happen one day, but he is fixated on it. Nissan got laughed at in the show big time.
