In the books he never left. He stays with the brotherhood without banners and does blacksmithing. He does get knighted Ser Gendry of hollow hill by Baric.

In the show I doubt he will ever come back. This show is starting to wind down so I think we will see more and more stories converging. He is a loose thread that doesn't need revisiting so they will just let him hang. Poor Gendry, rowing forever...

Maybe he rejoined the brotherhood and we'll see him, the hound and arya take down the freys

Well in the show they literally sold him to stannis so I'm not sure he would trust Baric again...

Lannister- He could have remarried after Tyrion was born deformed and Jamie joined the Knights guard. Keep pumping them out.

It does seem against type for Tywin not to remarry. He seemed to value family power over just about everything.

He also doesn't seem the type to be too sentimental about a wife.

Especially one who used to sleep around on him with Aerys

Not completely true. He can't feel his legs, but paralyzed men can still have sex/father children. Depends on the extent of their injury.

Now they can, but doesn't that usually require medical intervention to achieve erection or harvesting sperm-- I mean I don't think they're too far above the "leeches" and "humors" level in Westeros (excluding magic).

Not necessarily, depends on where the nerve damage is.

Quite possibly, he might simply be at the mercy of someone else taking the lead; she could ride him. Erections are more dependent on the circulatory system.

That's kind of the point of the series...

Major themes in GoT/ASoIF

Feudalism sucks
Slavery sucks
Feminism is good
Religion is wack

Meh, it's not untrue.

I laugh when HODORs call GoT misogynistic...when it's clearly about female empowerment.

As far as religion goes, it's blatantly obvious GRMM thinks religion is silly.

Tyrells- Loras only male heir? Why? Mace lose his junk or something? You don't just have 2 kids.

Mace has 4 children. Loras has two older brothers - Willas and Garlan. Were they both killed in the show or not included to begin with?

The fall of the male patriarchy is one of the major themes.
