I see what you are saying, but the movie still kicks arse.

Nurse, I haven't yet, but that could be a great way to spend the Amazon gift card I have.

Time Bandits is in a similar vein. you should check it out sometime if you haven't already seen it.

Noted. Thanks for the suggestion. I have not seen or heard of it.

Do you find that you have a better appreciation for "As the World Falls Down" music scene now then when you were a kid? I remember as a kid thinking that was the boring part. Now it is one of my favorite parts.

I love this movie. Him throwing the baby in the air to heights no human should ever do is the best part.

You remind me of the babe
What babe
The babe with the power
What power
The power of voodoo
Who do
You do
Do what
Remind me of the babe.

Love that movie.

Labyrinth is a really great flick. I think Henson's creations in this one were his best cast ever.

Side note: Time Bandits is an incredible movie. Worth watching for the cameos alone.

Love this movie. This and Princess Bride were two of the movies me and my siblings would watch over and over again growing up.

Dark Crystal is a better movie IMO, but the better cast goes to Labyrinth for the range and diversity. More memorable characters I think.

I loved this as a kid, but it didn't age as well as some of the other similar movies, like Neverending Story or Dark Crystal. There were some legitimately uncomfortable moments watching it as an adult, thinking "this is really gay."

I'm not hating on the movie at all. I still think it's a classic. But I'd never buy it because I don't see myself watching it once a year. Maybe every 5 years, at best.
