It's very watchable. Not as bad as people make it out to be.

I think most of us watched it on DVD or HBO or whatever. Very few watched at the theater.

Took the family to see it and fell asleep - which I never do at movies. Felt justified in my slumber as it bombed. But when I watched it at home, I thought it was a really good movie. Now every time I catch it while flipping channels, I end up watching the whole movie.

I watched after reading many negative reviews and found I enjoyed the movie.

I recommend you determine the film's worth for yourself.

horrific ad campaign.

The biggest mistake it made along with changing the title. I thought it was ok, good enough for a $5 matinee.

Book is called a Princess of Mars.

Film moved to John Carter of Mars (which doesn't really make sense) before being shortened to just John Carter.

It's a pretty good film whose reviews are a great example of why you should factor in rottentomatoes ratings in nothing.

John Carter of Mars still makes much more sense than just John Carter.

If you tell someone you're going to see John Carter, they're not gonna think it's a sci-fi movie about Mars.

Good movie. GREAT ending. Wish it hadn't bombed the sequel would have been sweet.

Yep. Very enjoyable and I thought the ending was excellent.

The ads made it look terrible so i didn't see it in theaters but caught it on a free HBO weekend and was glad. I haven't deleted it which is saying something.
