Harry Anderson corny funny guy role. He's not actually funny so a straight comedic actor like Will Ferrel for example would not have to be cast.

Um, Richie Tozier as a child did bad voices when he was a kid but he was still very funny to those around him. And adult Richie Tozier was considered a comedic talent due to his many wonderful voices which led him to being the #1 radio personality in the southwest.

Richie is a celebrity. He should ooze charm. His mouth gets him in trouble but it also gets him out of trouble.

I strongly disliked thenIT miniseries other than Tim Curry. The children actors were barely ok but the adult counterparts were all off. Beaverly doesn't even have red hair and Bill has a fricking pony tale and isn't a fat bald man lol.most punchable face around.

Ben Affleck (He's got the horror chops, he killed it in Phantoms) could be cast in that role.

I actually read Phantoms not long after It.

...like 100 years ago.

I will see this regardless of RT score.
I was 18 when the mini-series aired, and I couldn't even watch the whole thing. It sucked. Not even Tim Curry could save it.

Me, the SO, and the parents going to the 7 pm showing.

If it's scarier than the crazy arse freshman parents I dealt with today, then it's winning.

I gotta see this. My wife(no pics) won't see scary movies but I told her we could go to the Alamo draft house and get wasted. Hope that helps

Just got home. It was great. Do we need to fire up a spoiler thread?

My cousin and I are going tonight to the 10:15 showing and we're dressing up like clowns.

Heading out now to go see it. Couldn't wait until next weekend. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. I'm also going by myself because my wife is too scared

I enjoyed the mini series. I did however catch something the other day rewatching it on TV. When the clown is digging the graves while Bill is visiting Georgie's tombstone, there's a cross at the head of Stan's "grave" the clown dug. Funny thing is, Stan is Jewish and they even mentioned it earlier in the series.

Definitely Stranger Things:Clown Edition. Finn Wolfhard being in both didn't help matters any.

I'm not a filmmaker, but I have a hard time believing that they couldn't have cut about 45 mins from this film. I wanted more meat on Pennywise's backstory.

Watching the movie in Kennesaw, GA with Sherman Klump's mother one seat over didn't help matters any.

Good but not great.

The worst part of the miniseries was the studdering guy

Is he just as bad in the movie? His character was unbearable

Saw it tonight. They did a phenomenal job. I'm sure there will be some tool talking about how terrible it is because it has some jump scares
