Seinfeld is the GOAT with Park and Recs and The Office right behind it.

Not sure why you find All In The Family laughable as an all time great.

Please quote me where I said it wasn't great? If you'll direct your eyes back to the thread topic, it's greatest "of all time". As in, the best sitcom ever. At which point I found it laughable that AITF would be considered above seinfeld.

And the overwhelmingly vast majority of people if picking between the 2 shows would consider Seinfeld the best sitcom over all in the family. You gonna give those folks a lecture too?

Seinfeld got arse raped in the ratings when it was going head to head with Home Improvement on Wednesday nights so NBC moved it to protect it.

Well to be fair seinfeld wasn't all that good until about halfway through season 3, regardless of what night it aired.

I watched Friends as a kid. Can't handle it now though. Too many laugh tracks when it's not really funny just like Big Bang Theory.

Seinfeld is the GOAT because of the combination of good actors and multiple, well crafted story lines in each show. The way the seemingly unrelated story lines would interweave was genius.

I do think season 1 of Modern Family did a pretty good job with having multiple funny and interweaving story lines, but they just couldn't keep up the pace after season 1.

Seinfeld was my favorite show of all time for a long time, but Curb Your Enthusiasm took over after the last season.

Curb or Seinfeld? It's the biggest sitcom debate of our time...I still don't have a definitive answer. Although I can't wait for the new season of Curb. Will probably get HBO just for it. What's the best way to watch HBO shows without subscribing for it for long term?
