How old are you? If you were born between 78 and 87 you will enjoy the nostalgia. Very good movie. Feels like an homage to ET, Goonies, etc...

I enjoyed it. It does have a few inconsistencies that very anal movie-goers might find problematic. But it was a decent movie. I was really impressed with the kid actors.
BTW, not sure how old your kids are alajones - but this isn't a good movie for young kids. My 3rd grader would definitely not enjoy this movie - some scary scenes and definitely some words I don't want her using.

An enjoyable watch made by a competent filmmaker. Honestly, I wish we had more films like this aimed towards kids. It's very reminiscent of ET - it talks to 10-14 year olds on their level.

Meh, it's one of those things, glad I watched it so I'm no longer wondering if I'm missing something great. But I'd pass it up 100 out of 100 times if I saw it on the guide.

I thought it was a really fun summer blockbuster. I enjoyed it. It's one of those movies that makes you feel like a kid again.
