Jose Cruz (Sr.).
I met him many times and he was always gracious and genuinely interested in talking with the fans.
He was never a super star, but he played hard every single day and was a superb athlete....

Not sure how accurate this is... but this is the same source that broke the Melky Cabrera suspension last year.
