I am. Episode 9. Seems to drag and writing seems to get worse. I really liked the others though.

I can't help but watch it and think it's something a group of 18 year olds would make about New York. It's so over the top and poorly written that I can't really get into it

Cottonmouth may be the worst villain Marvel has ever conceived. The show is surviving on Colter's sheer brooding charisma and the tie in to the largest mtvu.

3 episodes in and not terribly impressed so far. Jessica Jones had a far more interesting villain (and Daredevil too for that matter) and the fighting sequences seem to be falling short of those in Daredevil.

I'll give it time though, it took a few episodes for Jessica Jones to get really good.

Luke is a badass, the writing and acting is poor.

I've found 13 episodes to be a bit too much for these marvel Netflix shows. Seems to drag at points. A tighter 9-10 episodes would be better.

Stranger things at 8 eps was just right imo

got thru episode 7 in 2 days

definitely going to finish the series, but now I'm in no rush - it absolutely started dragging to the point to where I'll finish it when I have nothing to do

I enjoyed it, and finished it Monday. I thought it was a lot more fun than the other two Marvel/Netflix series. Just different strokes, you know?

I think i'm 7 or 8 in, and i'm the same way. I'll finish it when I have nothing to do.

The acting is terrible, the fight scenes aren't fighting scenes, it's just guns. So much drama in this show that I just don't give a shite about.

I was finally starting to like Cottonmouth when they were showing the flashbacks and how he became who he is, and then he's gone. Feels like they could have had a better story with him, that maybe he has some good left in him.

Agreed. Jessica Jones was good, but they probably could've cut out 2-3 episodes and hard essentially the same story.

I've only watched the first episode but it seemed pretty formulaic. A lot of boxes to check off in setting up the show I guess.

I'll watch the rest but I'm not in a big hurry.

yeah, he's pretty bad. He was terrible in SOA too. Hard to take this guy seriously after seeing him get F'ed in the A by Marilyn Manson

They played this one too safe. They toy with blackploitation instead of embracing it. Cage and Iron Fist should be fun (in the blacksploit and classic martial arts ways), instead they stuck with the Daredevil and Jessica Jones model of dour. The bleakness works for those two, but not for LC and IF.

I am 6 episodes in, and I find it enjoyable enough but severely flawed. The actor is way too bland, but he has the look and does shine at moments. Coppermouth is very predictable, as is the entire series so far. Friends who have finished it told me that Diamondback is bad, but I am waiting to find out for myself.

While I am disappointed overall, this isn't a bad series. It is still engaging, and the supporting characters are good for the most part. I hope they don't follow the same model yet again fro IF, because then all of these series will begin to suffer by feeling redundant.

I thought it was pretty strong up until the last two episodes. The showdown with Diamondback was bad- in writing, execution, and lack of tension. I did enjoy the characters. I can tell you that I love Alfre Woodard in just about everything she's done- but I found her character lacking a realistic bent.
