No need to get into it since the person who started this thread is still watching

Walt Jr is basically irrelevant to the show
I think people that believe this miss the point of the character. Jr is the baseline for innocence on the show. He's the only recurring character that isn't corrupted at some level like everyone else. Everyone's image when reflected in Jr's perfect mirror is twisted. If you start to expand on his character you open up the opportunity for some darkness or twists that would fracture that mirror somewhat thus not providing a true reflection of just how fricked up everyone else is.

If you think Hank was corrupted you're reaching a bit. He was flawed, but stayed loyal to wife and job.

He's also the whole reason Skyler stuck around. Without him, she would have been gone and the whole family dynamic non-existent.

Pretty important to be there, but no need for complex character development.

More Jr. would have been BAD FOR THE SHOW. period.

Hahaha, I felt that way too. Didn't hate Skylar, but Marie got on my nerves....her and Walt Jr (aka Finn).

Haven't been watching as much lately but just finished Season 4. The last few episodes were probably some of the best television I've ever seen. Can't imagine how it would get any better...

SPOILER ALERT:

especially now that Gus is dead.

I remember the last 4 or 5 eps of season 4 I was just completely enthralled. I didn't watch the show live until season 5 so I was playign catchup. At that particular time, I didn't have a way to watch on TV so I was just having to find some shady websites to watch on my computer. I remember when S4 ended I just closed my laptop and sat in silence for a few minutes digesting everything.

S5 is obviously incredible, because it's breaking bad. I don't' know if I'd give the full season the nod over S4, but that just speaks more so to the greatness of S4. But rest assured you will still love the hell out of 5. I don't' know how you can control yourself and not binge the rest of it as fast as possible.

I'm not gonna say season 5 is flat out better, but it has a couple better individual episodes. And the entire season is as good as season 4 IMO, which is why so many peopl loved the show. It ended at its peak and didn't keep adding seasons that water it down
