Dude you'll probably love it. You loved BvS.

Same elements almost exactly.

You don't get Stephen King. Too high brow for you.

I actually agree.

I'm still not totally sure what it is about (from someone who isn't terribly familiar with the source material). I do like the people in it though.

Only a few commercials

you can take this how you want, but this typically means a movie is testing well. no need to overspend on commercials. when you see a movie constantly blasted out there with advertising its because its not testing well.

Valerian was all over websites and tv. it tanked.

The book board was built around my expressed love for Steven King. Ask Chicken. He's my favorite author of all time.

Matthew McConaughey fled across the desert, and the Black Man followed.

So they're not in the movie? It's going to be garbage.

Chicken could give two shits about you. You're as important as Mordred.

Shitty source material yields shitty movie.

I'm thinking Eragon bad.

The first Dark Tower book is King's best work IMO.

I thought The Gunslinger was not even close to as good as Drawing of the Three (best in the series) or The Wastelands (Blaine the Monorail anyone?)

Given the semi-limited release and the 95 minute run time, there are certainly reasons to be concerned.

Absolutely agree. He should have tripped more when he was writing

At least it gets a shot, I have wanted a R.A. Salvatore movie for a decade.

The Dark Elf trilogy would make great movies but I wouldn't hold my breath. The last D&D based movies didn't do so well.

I don't see why, unless they are unaware that this is a sequel to the books.

It's not exactly a sequel. It's another telling of his journey.

It is exactly a sequel. It's the last trip around and it takes place after the story in the books. That's a sequel.

The commentary makes the D&D movie.

Director thought he was making the next Star Wars, leaves the introduction of a main character on the cutting room floor.
