I dont get it. I dont spend much time on this board, because every time I do it seems when I read posts its just people hating on original and unique movies.

Just finished Whiplash. Definitely the movie of the year. Such an incredible scene when Simmons walks up to Teller onstage and quietly says "I knew it was you" and Teller's eyes grow wide with fear. I never saw it coming

Dont get me wrong I've started watching some shite movies but I usually quit watching if it sucks. I wanted to stop watching this movie so many times but I stayed with it.

Like somebody said when my friends told me it was about a drummer I pushed it off, but the more I heard about it I decided to watch and was blown away. The movie was so good i watched the last concert scene twice

I've said it before on here, but nobody seems to point out that not only is Whiplash one of the best films if not the best of the year ... it was made for $3 million and shot in 20 days ... that is insane.

I enjoyed Birdman and I feel sorry for whatever defect or disability you have that prevents you from enjoying it also. Hopefully they find a cure for you soon. Prayers sent.
