Jimmy's focus is more viral stuff, which is pretty smart. NBC makes $$ on that too.

stopped watching late night shows when I got DTV 14 years ago. there is something else better to watch or...gasp.. I might read a book instead.

I'm reading this crappy book I bought before getting on the plane yesterday. Zoo. Been up all night. I easily can get engrossed in a good book. This ones not but the idea is interesting. I'm just trying to finish it now.
I'd rather read a crappy book than watch a late night talk show.

late night shows are pretty pointless now with DVRs and netflix and shite.
the whole premise is broken and they shouldn't expect great ratings. anything funny that happens on late night will be on youtube the next day to watch

If you really want to hate late shows, go see one in person. Saw Letterman in person last summer in NYC. It's awful.
