I was just reading about it. I had forgotten about the accusations way after the fact that he molested Dylan. There's reason to not just completely believe that though. They had reason to lie. Then again maybe he really did do it.

It wasn't just the Soon Yi deal. He has actually been accused of diddling his seven year old daughter, Dylan Farrow.

My post was addressing the soonyi situation. The Dylan Farrow situation is a different issue, and based on a one time accusation by the (very pissed off and crazy female) Mia. There are no " decades" or "children".
I have posted at length regarding the facts of the case previously here and will not now repeat myself. I'd advise you to read everything written by both sides and consider the evidence unemotionally before you assume the truth of unspeakable horrifying evil.

I have no clue if those allegations are true. Kids lie. That is a simple fact. Look up the McMartin case to see how easily kids can go off the rails and be led to lie.
I have no problem believing Mia Farrow got her kids to lie.
Is it possible, he did it? Yup. Is it possible Farrow had her kids lie? Yup.
Was there enough evidence to prosecute? Nope.
I guess I should have said at best, he is creepy and at worst criminal whereas with Polanski, there is no doubt.

So, what if a football player is accused of sexual assault with a child? The NFL would never let them back on the field. What about a GM or team owner? They would get the boot. I wish the movie industry was this way personally.

Without doing a bunch of research into whatever evidence there may be, the one conclusion that seems definite is that they have a pretty damn complicated and messed up family situation.

Can you still listen to the Mamas and the Papas "Monday, Monday" and "California Dreaming" without all that child rape and incest coming to mind?

Even with Michael Jackson- his songs come on the radio, but the first thing that comes to mind is "child molester" when I hear him.

And I will never believe that he had no contact with or sexual desire for Soon Yi prior to her 18th birthday, especially considering the numerous other allegations. The dude is fricked in the head, the product of a Hollywood atmosphere that has been cultivating this shite for decades.

I saw an interview with Chapman where he was talking about his frame of mind at the time. He said that he had become obsessed with the fame of the beatles, and he thought by killing one of them that he would be able to absorb some of that fame.

there is some major dispute about the dylan farrow stuff. just fyi
i have no idea what happened. i believe allen is a creepazoid. i think it's entirely possible he did it. but 1-sided allegations don't automatically mean he did it
