Like 3/4ths of the theater left the second the credits began to roll.

Maybe they just don't give a shite. I know I walked out immediately after IM3.

I always stay. Some may not care. Some may just watch on YouTube.

It was the quantity of people that struck me, not that any left.

I mean they always set up plot points of future movies.

I had no clue they did that. But I'm not a big fan of comic book movies.

You're surprised that casual movie-goers aren't gonna sit through 7 minutes of credits just for a 10 second scene that they won't understand?

Can someone find a link to the 2nd post credits scene for Thor?

TIA.

Most people don't follow comic book movies as closely as you.

Holy crap just watched the explanation for the Thor after credits scene. There are really trying to get a whole big story to come together. There talking of tying in GotG to the 3rd Avenger movie! How many movies would this possibly stretch from start to finish ? IM 3, CA 2, Thor 2, Avengers 3, GotG 1/2, Hulk 1/2 . That's 12 for sure , 14 possible and that's excluding Ant Man or any other character the bring in in a solo movie ! Good god. Maybe getting a little carried away.

Three fourds of the theater left? So that means one fourds of the theater was nerds, sounds a little high to me.

Anyway, why would I wait through all of the credits, when I can watch the teaser online?

I'm surprised that they don't even wait till the end of the precredits where a even a lot of non-Marvel movies slip something.

Only the comic book and superhero movie nerds stick around to watch them. Its usually not even worth sitting through 20 minutes of credits anyway.

I could care less. Sometimes I'm exhausted. I'll see it on the computer anyway.

If the Infinity Gauntlet has been the goal ultimately through the end of phase 3, IM(3) CA(at least 2) Thor(3) Avengers(3) GotG(1?) plus Dr Strange, Ant Man, and Black Panther all strong possibilities for phase 3, that's 15 minimum.
If CA has a 3rd and GotG has a sequel as part of phase 3, or an IM4 it's gonna be closing in on 20 films by the time The Defenders setup series' are hopefully hitting their stride and possibly setting up the Civil War as the next focus.

If Civil War was the goal I would really hope for Marvel to pay $Texas for X-men and Spiderman.
