How anyone can think Homeland sucks is beyond me.
It's not out of this world, but shite, its damn good TV.
But yes, Carrie should die die die. Terrible casting. They could have picked someone actually hot that doesn't over act every scene.

Carrie really is just awful. I know they feel they can't just remove all her quirks and make her normal at this point, but they should consider. Hell, they seem to have done a decent job totally rebooting the show in a different direction, why not.
A straight up CIA show with some authenticity involving Quinn, Saul and a more normalized Carrie would be great. Her facial expressions and reactions are just such a drag on the storylines.

Season 3 and the first half of season 4 were fricking awful. A lot of people tuned out in those years and I can't blame them. Beginning in season 4 it was obvious they decided to try and eliminate some of the theatrics and return the show to its core, and it's going well, IMO

They've got a TON of storyline to go off now with ISIS and stuff. I'm excited.
Quinn is an excellent actor. Hope that guy gets some more stuff.

The only problem I foresee is Showtime getting tired of Islamic terrorism because it rubs the PC crowd wrong. It was hinted at over the last year.
But, given Quinn's statements, maybe that won't be the case? Sure hope so. While I enjoy intelligence community books/movies that aren't focused on Islamic terrorism, it can be hard to find credible and compelling subject matter these days that isn't on that topic.

Quinn is the best. His speech was unbelievable last week!
Saul needs more time on show too.
Dar Adal is one of my favorites on the show and wish they went even further into the CIA top spy.

Dar has been up to something for a while IMO.
