The lack of love for Curb Your Enthusiasm in this thread is surprising me. I know HBO has made great dramas, but damn LArry David has been killing it on Curb

Does it have to be on HBO??
They named all the good ones however if you have not seen Prison Break yet-I highly recommend it.
It's one of my favorite shows.
Dexter is on Showtime and great as well.
Breaking Bad on A&E is pretty good too.
Enjoy!

Carnival is an amazing show. I loved it, but to the OP,it had a season not series finale for the last show. Same as Deadwood, but both are great shows.

Just finished The Wire last night. Awesome show.

Also 6 Feet Under is a fantastic show. It will take you a long time to get through. It has one of the best final episodes ever.

I love Curb, but I've never been able to sit and watch it or any other comedy based series from start to finish like I would The Wire. If Curb is on, I'll watch an episode. But I won't go back through HBO Go and watch from episode 1. I'm not sure why that is, but TV series comedies don't have that appeal for me with East Bound and Down being the exception.

I did. It was funny and true. My girlfriend loves that show. I think it stupid and she gets mad at me for laughing at inappropriate times.

Drama
The Wire (best show ever)
Sopranos (almost at the top w/ The Wire)
Deadwood
Rome

Comedy
Curb Your Enthusiasm (better than Seinfeld IMO)
Entourage (first few seasons are great, really faded out in the end)
