I think it would be pretty cool to follow around Euron Greyjoy on his pre-book escapades. It would be a bit of a pirate theme, though.

I'm not even sure if Euron is in the show, though. I haven't watched past season 2.

Sounds interesting I guess. I've just never been a big prequel fan in any capacity.

We all know what everyone really wants is a drama that focuses on the inner workings of Dorne.

They should go East... Way east and do a show about the shadow lands.

It keeps the whole GoT universe but is essentially an entirely different world.

I'd also like to see something about the children or the first men. Kind of like a Silmarillion for Westeros.

Hell no not with the way they totally ruined Dorne in the show. It was one of my favorite parts of the book was the inner workings of that kingdom. The only one Aegon couldn't conquer. Why are they so powerful. Dammit I hate the show for ruining it.

I'd be happy if they just start and the beginning and keep going, lol. It would be cool seeing everything leading up to the creation of the Night King too. Even though it's all fantasy his stories read like real history to me and I think most anything they choose would be successful in TV format.

Dunk and Egg have to happen. I'd also really like to see all of the Valyrian history. There are so many cool stories to explore. I felt sure they were going to do a spinoff of some kind but it's fantastic to see it confirmed.

I also wish they'd bring some episodes back to the big screen.

We need a spinoff where it's just Cleganebowl.

I assume HBO wants to keep GOT train rolling for a variety of reasons, most of all the subscribers it attracts across the various HBO platforms. I doubt they want to continue the huge budget, production costs, and locations the current series requires.

Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised each spinoff focuses more on a single location and a smaller cast.

would be awesome, love to see a better version of Brynden Rivers/Lord Bloodraven

hated how the current show portrayed his character.

A few things:

1. I'm actually okay if they take a couple years off before starting a spin off. Let everyone enjoy the ending to the show and then let the anticipation build for more.
2. If they're adapting GRRM's writing, I wonder how they'll address potential discrepancies between the books and the show, should the situation arise. Will they choose to omit something from the source material to preserve the shows continuity?
3. I hope they stick to the past. After we get a conclusion to this story, I don't want them to try and build on it further.

Brynden Rivers story would be great, they could connect to the current show.

-Master of Whisperers
-Last Greenseer
-Commander of Raven's Teeth
-Three time was Hand of the King
-The 3 Eyed Crow/Raven
-The Battle of Red Grass Field
-Loyal Targaryen vs Bittersteel
-Second Blackfyre Rebellion
-was the honor guard, of Maester Aemon Targaryen's trip to the Wall
-Lord Commander of the Knight's Watch
-Disappeared while ranging beyond the Wall in 252 AC
-tutoring Bran

quote:

How many eyes does Lord Bloodraven have? the riddle ran. A thousand eyes, and one. Some claimed the King's Hand was a student of the dark arts who could change his face, put on the likeness of a one-eyed dog, even turn into a mist. Packs of gaunt gray wolves hunted down his foes, men said, and carrion crows spied for him and whispered secrets in his ear. Most of the tales were only tales, Dunk did not doubt, but no one could doubt that Bloodraven had informers everywhere.
