Still one of the GOAT funny scenes. They were awesome together.

Big fan of Wilder. I've read a few of his books. They are interesting quick reads. A brilliant actor. I wish he would have done more films in his prime. (drama, suspense). He and Brando are two guys I wish did more work with better roles. We missed out.

This scene cracks me up.

Love is the only thing that can save this poor creature, and I am going to convince him that he is loved even at the cost of my own life. No matter what you hear in there, no matter how cruelly I beg you, no matter how terribly I may scream, do not open this door or you will undo everything I have worked for. Do you understand? Do not open this door.

Later ...

Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. What's the matter with you people? I was joking! Don't you know a joke when you hear one? HA-HA-HA-HA. Jesus Christ, get me out of here! Open this goddamn door or I'll kick your rotten heads in! Mommy!

I'm a fan. The adventures of Sherlock Holmes' smarter brother is an underrated favorite.

Imagine Wilder was your fricking awesome 82yr old Grandad. He just joined Uncle Joe Walsh in my extended family holidays fantasy camp.

Gene Wilder played in some of my favorite movies growing up. Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka, Young Frankenstein, Silver Streak, The Frisco Kid, Stir Crazy, See No Evil.

He and Pryor were one of the best duos ever.
