Lol why was Bedelia Du Maurier's arm down that guys throat?

That happen either later in S1 or midway thru S2. Hannibal basically set her up with that dude. Pretty crazy.

I thought that was the guy who "attacked" her, which happened in the past. Before S1 even began.

I think you may be correct. I do know that Hannibal set that man to her.

Correct. He was his patient first. Then he "couldn't help him" so he sent him to her. Then he "attacked" her.

Or in reality, he brainwashed this guy to attack her.

That was a big twist with her arm down his throat though. Interested to see how this attack really played out.

At dinner, she was shaking with nervous anticipation - part anxiety, part excitement, maybe part arousal. As her line of dialoge about her taste would indicate.
I did not think this at all. I thought she was fricking scared about getting murdered/eaten by Hannibal.

I think she was scared also. Far from "excitement".

There is definetly a part of Bedelia that is intrigued by what Hannibal is doing. If she lived in inherent fear of him and his deeds she wouldn't be with him. Period.

So Abigail is a figment of his imagination right?

I just started watching tonight's ep and that has to be the most blood ever on network television

Can someone help me understand a little about the elk/moose and what it means? Does Will think of himself as this animal? Or is it Hannibal and either way what is the significance of a moose or whatever it is?

TIA and now back to the show. Dis bitch won't die

Spoiler

Eta: never mind, Abigail is dead.

Spoilers for those who did not watch the latest episode

I was sort of hacked off when it appeared abigail had survived Hannibal's slashing but when they arrived in Italy and she carried no scar then it was apparent Will was imagining her. I'm glad they played it that way rather than the happy ending it way.

They've always had a lot of indulgent "art film" sensibilities, but this year they have gone full on art film.

I love how this is slowly unraveling. As much as I think Kacey Rohl is attractive. I'm glad that Abigail was only a figment of Will's imagination. It would have been a bit unsettling if she survived.

Next week it looks like we are raising the bar.

Yea, I've noticed that was well. Its fine in spots but it shouldn't become the focus of any episode. I hope they tone it down a bit going forward.

What did you find over the top?

This whole episode was over the top. There were like 10 minutes stretches with no dialogue. I love this show but that episode was pretty bad.

I don't think it was a bad episode at all. It's refreshing that a network isn't feeling the pressure to make sure something massive happens in every single episode. Sure if you are new to the series. You'd probably think that this slow pace & imagery is boring. But I'm loving it so far.

Sidenote, did anyone else catch the fact that the priest was able to see Abigail?

it also pissed me off that they censored this.
