As far as a GOAT, I'd have to say Once Upon a Time in the West. But I just keep going back to TG,TB&TU. I find myself so intrigued every time I watch it. Shane is one of my favorite movies, and I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence.

Is Dances With Wolves considered a western?
Unforgiven gets a slight nod over GBU.

You know, I'm going to have to go with Django Unchained as my favorite. I love all the classics, but dammit if I didn't thoroughly enjoy Django.
The greatest of all time is probably Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cattivo. Or the original True Grit. Even though I enjoyed the newer one a little bit more.

Lonesome Dove is the greatest.
But if we're only counting movies, Once Upon A Time in the West

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly followed closely by Once Upon a Time in the West.

TGTBATU is probably in my top 5 movies of all time. So, I'll say that.

The Magnificent Seven should be included on that list.

If I'm flipping through the channels and see For a Few Dollars More, I have to watch it.
