His comment was in regards to you calling Hardhome "Harrenhall"

I've like Ayra's storyline, it was similar to the book, I think the next two episodes will focus on her plot line, based on previews and shows titles. I do wish they would have showed her eating the worm.

I think he thought you actually meant Hardhome and not Harrenhal.

Whoops

Arya's has stayed somewhat on track with the book path. It's just been slow since they had to use more screen time for other character's storylines this season.

I guess they dont want to upset non book readers by not changing Arya or Jaqen H'gars face because they are just great characters. But it would have been nice to have Arya as the ugly girl and to be done with his old face. But just changing Arya's hair isnt much. I mean at least throw some ugly scars on her or something. That takes away from my favorite from all 5 books that could have been said towards the end. And you get no training from her story, just a whip, a slap, and rubbing a dead body with a sponge. O well. It'll be better the next few episodes.

(but I loved that they had him reveal to Sansa that he didn't kill her brothers)

Agreed.

I also love the accelerated plot path of Tyrion and Dany's meeting. I wish the fat man would've done this in the last book

I like the accelerated meeting, I just didnt care for how quickly she put trust in him. But, I guess its the same principle as the Arya/Jaqen H'ghar/Jamie story. They are characters you love so thats who people want to see on screen regardless of the books at this point.

No. I was reading up a while back and saw that there has been a few chapters released over the past few years but I was never able to find them. Dont think anybody replied when I asked on the crackpot thread.

What is the general opinion of this season?

Overall pretty good. Every episode can't be a Hardhome but yet they've kept it interesting albeit with some dragging on here and there.

Well, if everyone wants to start their threads early I guess I better update this thread's title.

Episode 9: "The Dance of Dragons"--Stannis addresses an unsettling decision; Jon comes back to The Wall; Mace journeys to the Iron Bank; Arya comes across an individual from her past; Dany hesitantly agrees to perside over a traditional celebration of athleticism.

Theon knocks Ramsey out before the exposition and rapes him with a candlestick

Wait I'm sorry, Theon has a quick wedding right before it happens so it consensual candlestick sex by martial right
