Hodor has been faking the entire time. He is the true successor to the Targs and R'hllor reborn.

The smallfolk will get sick of all the bullshite that's going on, leading to a bloody revolution and the establishment of a secular, representative democracy.

That made me think of this...

I always figured it'd be Jon Snow and Dany n the Iron Throne since it's called Fire & Ice.
Although I'm hoping for Arya b/c she's the most awesome character on the show

Early in the series Sam killed a white walker with fire.

Fire melts ice.

I want to see the dragons laying waste to the army of white walkers.

That may not be how it ends, but I'm sure it's coming...

Shitmouth seizes the Iron Throne.

Why do you get to start both threads?

Based on what we know from the books and the show, there's a few basic premises at work:

1. We know Winter is coming. Now the question is just what does that mean? In other words, how far South will Martin's world be affected by the equivalent of an Ice Age overrun with Wights and White Walkers?
2. We know that Melisandre, in tune with the Lord of Light, has predicted that Stannis will become the rightful ruler of the 7 Kingdoms of Westeros.
3. We know that Daenerys Targaryen plans to conquer Westeros and take her rightful place as the ruler of Westeros.
4. We know that Jon Snow will die but some suggest that he might return as a Wight or White Walker. Many also believe that Jon is half Targaryen as the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
5. Sansa Stark is to wed the vile Ramsay Bolton per manipulation by Littlefinger.
6. Arya Stark is training in the House of Black and White to become a faceless assassin.
7. Bran Stark is a Warg and has Greensight. He has the ability to take control of animals possibly even dragons.
8. Davos has been charged with collecting Rickon Stark and his dire wolf, Shaggydog, from the island of Skagos and bringing them back to White Harbor.
9. Lannister rule over Westeros is collapsing upon itself.
10. Tyrone and Varys are in route to Meereen presumably to offer their services to Daenerys to assist her in taking the Iron Throne.
11. There is a prominent meteor in the sky with a red tail apparently a premonition of the return of dragons.

Conclusions:
1. Stannis will rally the North behind him with the aid of Rickon and Sansa and defeat the Lannisters after it becomes public knowledge that the Lannister claim to the Iron Throne is illegitimate.
2. Jon Snow will be transformed into a White Walker and lead an army of Wights, White Walkers and Wildlings.
3. Melisandre will receive a vision from the Lord of Light hailing the return of Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons. Stannis will be burned alive as a sacrifice to usher in the uniting of light and fire. As a sign the meteor will draw closer and become more prominent in the sky.
4. Arya will become nobody. Jamie will kill his sister, Cersei Lannister, removing the last victim from Arya's list allowing her to uphold her House of Black & White vows and her nobody status.
5. Remembering the Field of Fire, the Warden of the North will bend a knee and Daenerys will become Queen of Westeros.
6. Tyrone will become the Hand of Daenerys.
7. And Varys will return to is previous capacity as the eyes and ears of the Queen.
8. Littlefinger will be found guilty of treason and executed.
9. As Winter encroaches, Jon Snow with an army of Wights, Wildlings and Giants will march South against Daenerys. A massive battle will ensue with Jon being melted by a dragon controlled by Bran in Warg form; it's simply too cold for any human to survive mounted on a dragon. However, Jon will hurl his sword, Longclaw, in a dying effort killing the dragon and Bran who cannot return from the dragon in Warg form.
10. As the cold encroaches further South, Daenerys will be forced to retreat to Dorn. Melisandre will pray to the Lord of Light for deliverance and he will respond by sending the orbiting meteor crashing down upon Westeros purging it of the evil undead and everyone else.
11. The End

That would be Jon Snow hailing the march of his army South.

I posted this in the Hordor thread, but I'll post it here as well.

I have a feeling that the Jon Snow/Tyrion meeting and interaction in the 2nd episode of season one will come into play in the future. I think that Tyrion will be the bridge between Daenerys' army (which will have taken the southern and central lands) and Jon Snow's army (which will be made up of those aligned with the Starks (with Rickon being back in the fold as the head of the Starks/King of the North), the remnant of the Nights Watch, the Wildlings, and possibly whatever remains of Stannis' army) in order to fight the White Walker army. I wouldn't be surprised if Daenerys and Jon marry to seal the alliance between the two factions (and since Jon is probably a Targ, and Targs love to intermarry). And thus the 3 headed dragon is Jon Snow, Daenerys, and Tyrion.

But as I type that, and look at it, it seems that might be way too much of a neat & tidy wrap up for this show.

I believe Jamie will kill Cersei, thus fulfilling the prophecy of the "valonqar." Most think this is Tyrion, but Cersei is the older twin, and I think it's most dramatic if Jamie kills her.

My thoughts as well. And yes, it's way too neat, but it's the most logical. And even though I believe Tyrion is the third dragon, it could be Bran, since he can warg into animals...even dragons!
