You are walking a fine line here pal. Ban hammer in your future if you don't tone it down with your midichlorian crap. I think you underestimate how pissed off this angle in the prequels made us true Star Wars enthusiasts. I would re arrange your face if you talked like this to me in person.

Acting like a mod is a bannable offense. I'll let this one go, for now.

Exactly. I mean, some people are born like Steve Buschemi, and some people are born like Herschel Walker. Theres no special microorganisms that make Herschel Walker a freak athlete. Does it really need to be any more difficult than that?

Precisely. Everyone has the potential to access or come into tune with the Force, but some people are just naturally more sensitive to it. Full stop. No need for further, mechanistic explanation. In fiction it is often better to leave things unexplained. The sense of mystery or unknown allows the consumers of the fiction to fill in the missing pieces themselves. To puzzle over them and offer their own explanations. It's much more satisfying that way. What's more enjoyable - The Lord of the Rings trilogy or The Silmarillion? The Silmarillion is like reading your car's owner's manual.

It's better to be able to imagine that YOU ALSO can tap into the Force than it is to be told that the Force is only for superior elect Aryans who have a high "midichlorian" count.

This one I'm almost certain Lucas did that as a very deliberate frick you to the fans.

And this is why I'm glad folks like harmy exist. It's great to live in a world where we have the option to say to George, "No, George. frick YOU!"

George fricked himself with his own money grab/let me show you my genius movies.

I will never own "those" 3. I will never own the "touched up" Trilogy.

When Disney releases the orginal trilogy theatrical editions I will buy those.

I love JJ's work with Star Trek and will fully give him a blank slate to work with.

Frick George, Frick Prequels, Frick Anakin, Jar Jar, Clones, Driod Armys, The Confederation, MidoWTF's, Palpatine's Seduction, Frick the "love" story, Frick Pod Racing, Frick "Whoohoo", Frick "NOOOO!!", Frick Ladder Climbing in Lava, swinging like Tarzan while Lightsabar fighting, Frick Baby Killing, Frick every production cast member that sat there quietly just nodding to all the BS that let all that crap happen.

Love John Williams.

I agree with everything you said - except for 1 line.

(And you can already get the unaltered, in high def. Google "harmy" "despecialized".)
