I just finished watching it. Pretty good episode.
Jorah shows his greyscale to Dany and tries to leave but she tears up and commands him to find a cure and then return to her side because she NEEDS him to help take the Iron Throne.

Brienne/Davos/Jon/Sansa/Tormund are sitting around a table discussing how to build their army up and he's staring at her the entire time, freaking her out.

I feel like a bitch I cried when Hodor died. Legit got me in the feels. That beautiful son of a bitch held "the door."

This show feels like watching a thrilling movie. I have kind of taken the book and show as being two different mediums so I don't get pissed at the changes anymore. Im legit enjoying the show.

The guy who leaked the spoilers for the rest of the season was dead on about this episode so Benjen is confirmed to be coming back.

Hate unexplained shite and convenient but irrational behavior.
So leaf and her girls made a monster to kill men who were cutting down the forest. When did that happen? When did they realize it was a bad idea?
Why was bran back to "seeing" his dad at Winterfell when he knew the NK was on his way? It's like the sole purpose of it was to force Hodor's death on us.

Best Guess:
That happpened thousands of years ago. They probably didn't take nearly as long to realize it was a mistake. Odds are, if they had the WW on leashes, it got fricked up. So they then turned to the Men, probably helped build The Wall, and taught them some of their gifts (Warg/sight).
Can only assume that Winterfell scene is something the old guy knew had to happen. Maybe an clue that the old man is Bran, who somehow physically put himself in the past at some point.

And if dragon glass was used to create the WW then why does it kill them? I guess it's like multiplying a negative.
I can't say I'm a fan of throwing time traveling (having an impact on the past) into the mix. There's already enough going on. Wyllis->Hodor happened in the past but was caused by someone in the present. If Bran never traveled back then Wyllis would have stayed Wyllis so Bran must have traveled to the past...in the past.
Ugh, to hell with time travel. It can muddy up any story.

Holy sh*t, I legit teared up at the end of the episode.

Dragonglass creating the WW and kills them, is definitely a LOTR/One Ring trope.

Can the WW's bring back animals? Let's see some Zombie Summer.

I'm not going to be able to watch it until this afternoon.
So Summer dies? Why do D&D hate direwolves so much?
