Where is the Iron Fleet going with Asha and Reek leading them? They do no good in the north since that will all be a ground war. Do they go to Dany and hope they can convince her to join them before Euron gets there? Do they go kill themselves attacking somewhere else?

It was a random point. its a paradox without reason. Hodor is only hodor because of the situation in the future which wouldn't have happened if he wasn't hodor to begin with. It's stupid

All time travel is stupid for that very reason. It causes impossible paradoxes. That is why time travel is impossible.

quote:

Why not warg into hodor when he's 25 or heck when he's 4?

Because BR knew exactly when Bran wargs into him. History was already written, BR said as much when Bran was questioning him after the TOJ. Again, time traveling paradox.

quote:

And on the other side, once they know the WW are coming, BR says hey bran let's watch some more of your young father and everyone just calmly goes along with it? I mean if they had fricking left right then and there they all get out instead of just 2 of them. BR chose to sacrifice hodor to save just the two instead just getting the frick out all together?

You don't know that they would've survived if they would've left right then. For all we know the Others could've been close to the tree when Bran had his vision where they saw him. And it's not like they were in the vision very long at all until the Others attacked.

I think it's pretty obvious that they will be heading to Meereen, stealing Euron's plan.

Your explanation for them waiting to leave is that they had to wait for the WW to get there to get out safely?

No, my explanation is that they were already too close to escape. Bran wargs by himself immediately after he woke from the Nights King grabbing him, and telling BR about it. So the warging to see Ned and Hodor in the past happened immediately, and was done by Bran. BR just followed after Bran warged.

Yeah, but it also confirms that the GNC is not going to take place, so that makes me a little sad.

But I can't wait to see Jon Snow (or hopefully Jon Stark) named King in the North. Sansa giving him the cloak she made like Ned's kind of foreshadows that a bit.

Here are some supposed leaks for episode 6: LINK

quote:

1.Meera Reed and Bran Stark are still being chased by a group of Wights and it seems the wights are catching up. Meera is exhausted and about to give up on Bran.We see a man on a horseback seemingly with a flaming sword who kills a couple of wights with a strike and the rest by dismounting from his horse.A close up shows the man to be Ned’s brother Benjen Stark who’d left the wall in season 1.Bran is still in his visions and Meera doesn’t recognize him.He says he knows what’s happened and they need to take Bran to Castle Black.A well shot scene.

The crowd at Kings landing has gathered at the Red Keep for Margaery’s atonement. The HS is recalling Margaery’s sins and Margaery confesses to lying to the Gods about Loras’s affairs and says she repents. The HS says the Gods have accepted her repentance and have taken her to be a servent of the Seven.A long speech.Just then the Tyrell army arrives but Margaery commands them to stay put.The king is impressed by the High Sparrow’s justice and agrees to use the 7 pointed star as a part of the sigil. Later a furious Cersei along with the Mountain demands a meeting with the HS but a fight breaks out b/w the Mountain and the sparrow guards.Cersei orders the Mountain to go after Septa Unella and he crushes her to death.

A vision about the death of the Mad King just as Jamie described to Brienne. Young Ned is the 1st to arrive after Jamie stabs the mad king and questions his honor.Jamie then sits on the iron throne but says he did it for Robert.

Sam and Gilly arrive at Horn Hill. His sister and mother are good people but his father is furious that he broke the vows of the Nights Watch by fathering a child. He doesnt believe Sam killed a WW and thinks the baby is his.He refuses to let Gilly stay.Sam leaves his home with Gilly and on the carriage tells her he stole his father’s Valyrian sword

Walder frey is at the Twins celebrating the wedding of his son.A raven arrives which says he can get Riverrun if he agrees on one condition. No word on whom the letter is from.Possibly LF or Jaime.

Arya arrives at the play and goes backstage. She’s serving wine with the poison to the actress. The actress remarks that Arya has the looks of a lady and offers her a position in her cast. She says they’ll be going to the Twins for Walder Frey’s daughter’s wedding. Arya sees the opportunity to get a name off her list and spills the wine

Daenerys and Daario are on the way to Mereen and converse. The khalasar see Drogon above and Dany is relieved that Drogon is coming with them. Varys says Dany is arriving with an army and they need to make provisions. The new priestesses spread the word of Dany returning as the end of Darkness.

Not ruling out Ian Mcshane’s or the Hound’s return in this episode but there was no word on it. Perhaps not to spoil.

We know the season long leak is accurate, but who knows about this one. It doesn't go against any of the season long leak storylines, so it's possible they could be accurate.

ETA: But it looks like some of the folks in that thread on Watchers on the Wall thread say it is probably not accurate. I guess we'll see tomorrow night.

Has Thoros' return for a hanging scene been confirmed? LINK

His return is mentioned in the storyline spoilers listed in the beginning of this thread. Apparently he gets beat just like his buddy Beric by the Hound.

I'm not sure if we get the hanging scene or not. The Brotherhood Without Banners apparently will descend into basically a roaming group of robbers, so I'm not sure who there is going to care what oaths Brienne is keeping.

But we do know that Brienne will meet up with Jamie, so we might get something there. Apparently she gets caught up on the Lannister/Tully battle. Maybe she eventually kills Jamie, but who knows at this point.

So it looks like most of what was leaked is over, outside of the battle in the north. I'm going to be annoyed if we don't get an outright confirmation of R+L=J. frick whispers we can't hear followed by cuts to Jon. Stop dragging out poorly kept secrets and just have Ned promise to raise the boy as his bastard.

But wouldn't that be a confirmation? If they show an actual baby crying, Lyanna whispering to Ned, then an immediate cut to Jon, is that not a confirmation? They would obviously be telling the audience who Jon is with that sequence, right?

I suppose, but then why would they prevent us from hearing the whispers? Also, I would like for it to be clear that Bran knows.

Me too, I will be very pissed off if it is still even the tiniest bit left open to interpretation after the season is over. Exhibit A: Is Stannis alive or not? After last season.

Yup. After this season, we may only have 13 or so episodes. No reason not to get things rolling towards the endgame.

Looks like tonight we will be getting Jon, Davos & Sansa's wooing of Lyanna Mormont, only to be told she only has less that 100 men to give. And we will get the Riverland stuff. I'm guessing Brienne meets up with Jamie, and that discussion happens. But it sounds like Jamie will use Edmure to get into Riverrun, and the Lannisters wreck shop. I was hoping Blackfish would hold out, but hopefully he isn't actually killed but escapes (although it sounds like we won't see it if he does). And we finally get the Hound's return. Hopefully he takes out the remnant of the Brotherhood Without Banners tonight. But there are gonna be some ticked off folks over in the reader thread when we don't get Clegane Bowl this year.

“Ramsay and Jon meet across the battlefield. Ramsay releases Rickon and tells him to run toward his brother. As Rickon runs, Ramsay starts shooting arrows up in the air one at a time that keep missing him. Jon starts galloping toward Rickon but just as he reaches him, one of Ramsay’s arrow hits him and he dies in Jon’s arms. Sansa is the smart one. She tells Jon before the battle that Rickon is already dead.”

So I remembered this bit when watching the promo for the next episode. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty worried there's going to be a scene where Jon goes out into the open to get Rickon, has Rickon die in his arms, and goes back to his army without anybody bothering to shoot him full of arrows once he's in range.

Ramsay is the kind of guy that would take Jon hostage and try to turn him into Reek 2.0
