I don't know why people keep saying this.
A few pages back, someone recapped everything that happened, it was certainly a heck of a lot more than "nothing"
shite happened....but the story didn't progress at all.
And who fricking goes into a fight to the death with a fricking WHIP?
And who fricking turns their back to a person that just said they were there to kill you?
Trystane is such an idiot.

Once they passed up books they are scared to make a drastic red wedding type move. When it was in the books already they were forced to do bold kills.
Now it just feels like season 5 on is wasted safe fillers.

Danny is going back to Vaes Dothrak AND her ships all got burned, so that story went, in fact, way backwards

sometimes you gotta step backwards to forward or something, right?

I haven't read the whole thread, but have people considered that this may be the nature of the entire season? The conjecture seems to be that the story departs from the books at this point, or RR fleshes out where it's headed then does his own thing with the long awaited next book - but is it possible that the series just treads water for this entire season while awaiting the next book?

Dont forget she is losing control of her cities.

Which is pretty standard for her storyline now. I have given up on her conquering anything any time soon.
It was assumed that Tyrion going there, he would be able to speed things up and get her organized. Now Im convinced they are going to continue dragging her storyline out further and never reaching that true takeover we all wanted.

Tough crowd. I liked the episode.
My only beef was the total Sherlock / Doctor who "don't explain in any way" how the heroes survived the cliffhanger situation. I guess Sansa is a fan of Sherlock and she knew how he survived the jump from the building.

and I have never thought that Dany would cross the sea with an army ready to conquer
I always thought that she would just eventually fly over there with her dragons and be like "what now bitches?"

Now I just want her to go to the retirement home and never be shown again.

I would stab my fricking eyes out if they tread water an entire season.
I think they're doing the same shite that they've done in the past. They tread water for several episodes while everyone pulls their hair out and then they progress everything seemingly at once. Which is idiotic if you ask me, but it hasn't stopped them before. The pacing in this series is my chief complaint. Overall I still love it but god damn could they improve things a lot with just a little tweaking.

This was my thought. However, now that they announced they only wanna do one more seventh season, we are getting fricked if season 6 just treads water waiting on book.

I dont really get that situation. I kind of understand it, but if I'm Tommen and those psychos have taken my mother and hot arse wife, Im burning down everything in my way until I get them back.
why doesnt he get his kingsguard and mow those proests down.
and I was rooting for Stannis? is he dead?
and Dorne. That bitch wife killed the king and his son? They wouldnt put her on the the throne will they?

Have we every seen a true, rightful king die on camera?
I had not thought of that. We saw Robert die (iirc) but that was a large part of what kicked off the wars. We saw Renly die but he wasn't the rightful king as Stannis was older. We saw Joffrey die but he wasn't really Robert's child.
Excellent point!
