Whatever happened to that other brotherhood of guys who worship the lord of light and resurrect people?
Unless they come back soon, I feel they were just there to give credence to the power of the lord of light.
If the red witch is the only evidence of it then how do we know she isn't A) Bullshitting or B) the true source of the power?

quote:I totally agree with all this. frick Daario the douche.
I couldn't be more tired of that motherfricker Daario. The actor sucks arse, and it seems like his only reason onscreen is to flirt with Dany. Which is fine I guess, but we've seen him do it for the last few episodes. Either he's trying to impress her when she's ruling, or we see their pillow talk, or we see himg et jealous of this afro finacee' dude and they start a pissing contest. It sucks and he sucks, and it's one of the reasons I can't fricking stand Dany right now.
I honestly think he's there solely to appeal to female watchers because it seems that chicks who typically love shitty tv shows and don't really understand the story in Game of Thrones but watch with their husbands/boyfriends always seem to love Daario, but everyone else hates him.

I imagined Drogon would basically be an atom bomb laying motherfricker.

Just a gut feeling I guess. To me they made a point that he was late for the festivities to "put things in order" then his Harpy homies come in and start fricking shite up. That plus his banter about how "this city will be here long before you are gone."
He knew what was about to happen
If he had a leadership role, wouldn't they want to keep him around after the coup? Plus, if he was part of it, wouldn't it make more sense for him to wait til after he marries the queen to take her out so he then has the throne?

I don't know, maybe I was expecting too much, but I at least thought Drogon would swoop in and DESTROY some shite instead of killing ten or fifteen people and then getting stabbed a bunch of times.
I still think it's because he's relatively young. And maybe the dragons are at their most destructive when in tandem with a human/rider. You always hear about the Targs riding the dragons in battle.

Exactly my thought process.
I was like "Aww shite, this dude went and set up his girl..."
And then ten seconds later I was like "Oh, nevermind.."

Of course I think her murderous vagina smoke demon probably put to rest any thoughts that she might be bullshitting.

Yeah, I don't think he was involved. The only other scenario I see is that he was involved with the Harpys, but when he got with Dany, they saw him as a traitor.

Plus that time she drank poison and predicted people dying.

I'm hoping they are chalking it up to him still being young, because the dragons would get absolutely destroyed by white walkers and an army of wights.

I say its a lack of military strategy...he gave up his elevated position.
fricking fly around and torch these frickers....don't get on their level.

Whatever it was, I hope it never happens again

Okay, this may not help very much but just a little bit of reasoning as to why Stannis did the horrible deed in this show.
"People have also pointed out that Stannis believes himself to be the chosen one, Azor Ahai, who is destined to save the world from the encroaching darkness. So Stannis believes that if he does not succeed, not only will his army starve to death, the world itself will fall to the Night’s King and the White Walkers. I can appreciate his delusion here, but I think that a fitting moment for that delusion to end would be the ritual sacrifice of his own daughter. Stannis is not a good man, necessarily, but I didn’t ever peg him as truly evil, either. When he killed Renly, it was an act of war. This is so much bleaker and more evil."

It was weak arse storytelling and completely unnecessary to burn Shireen alive. It was a gratuitous scene and its sole purpose was to shock viewers and get people talking about the show. But here we are so I guess they got what they wanted.
I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion and you may not have liked how it was done but I don't see how you can act like there was no point in it.
It showed how callous Stannis is and how the only thing that matters to him is being the king.
It wasn't like it just happened out of nowhere and for no reason. Red witch has told him it is necessary if he is going to be successful. He has little reason to doubt her based on how far she has gotten him so far.

They needed to do something to get him out of the snow and fight the Boltons. In the preview it shows the ice melting so it obviously worked.

And also how consumed he is by the lord of light and that whole thing.
Also, are we ever gonna get an update on Gendry? If he was still imprisoned at Dragonstone, they wouldn't have needed to sacrifice Shireen. Same thing with Jon Snow, as my buddy pointed out to me...if he fricks red titty witch, Shireen is still alive as well.

They built up the Unsullied for half a season, and all of a sudden these Sons of Harpy dudes are working them over every other day
Going by this season it would look like the battle for the Iron Throne would cone down to the Sparrows and the Harpy's. They appear to be the two most powerful groups.

Also thought it was kinda funny that she just peaced the frick out and left Tyrion, Jorah, and Messandei standing there like "Thanks, bitch."
On the previews for the next episode it shows Tyrion, Jorah, and Dahrio just sitting on the steps of the throne room with their heads bowed and no Dany kinda like " OK, is the bitch coming back or what now".
Of course previews are always edited and shown to make you think one thing and then it turns out to be another, but it was a funny shot/frame/whatever.

Careful, speaking from personal experience, any combination of The Mountain and Frankenstein will get you labeled a book reader, although you don't have to be the wittiest person on the board to come up with that. Just speaking from personal experiences.
