Jaime realized as he was talking to his daughter that she doesn't know him at all. It is ironic though that he had an exchange with his daughter that so many fathers have had with their daughters
It also shows how much like Cercei she is now. That looked like a copycat scene with Cercei and Tywin from last season

By the way I'm shocked this didn't involve Arya (based on the title).

Yeah, that was a definite head fake by D&D.

I'm guessing it was Lancel but he had already told the Faith what he had done I think. Maybe someone to discredit the guy who testified against Loras? Of course that guy was telling the truth but it's not beyond Littlefinger to find someone to lie.
Also, I guess Littlefinger got his deal with Cersi in writing about being Warden of the North cause she's not in much of a position now to confirm it.

That was his backup plan anyway

Really good episode, especially the parts in King's Landing and Dany finally meeting Tyrion/seeing Jorah and seeing her reaction when Tyrion said his name.
The preview for next week looks like the best episode so far.

These next 3 episodes are gonna be insane.
So next season is truly going to be uncharted territory. At this point, I don't even care that they've passed the books, just give me more.

Looks like the Sparrows going to do the every hour on the hour annoying confession torture with Cersei, as well as the stripping of her clothes. That was a really excruciating part of the book, and should be good TV.
I'm not sure how revealing the Sansa clip is, though. She obviously hates Theon for what he's done, but her acknowledging how much of a piece of shite he is doesn't necessarily mean anything major.
The only real wild card is how they will portray whatever happened at Winterfell. It was extremely vague in the book, but they have a lot of major characters planted at that setting who otherwise weren't, so any use of them in concluding the season will likely mean a major deviation from either the known book plot or the greater storyline in general.
Three episodes is a lot of narrative, and they are almost caught up with the books. Jon being at Hardhome allows them to stretch out his and therefore the overall storyline, but they're still going to have to deal with the misplaced characters and changed/added subplots.

We don't know that for sure. There is still a chance that GRRM could still release the WoW before the next season (although it's probably a very slim chance).

I think the bigger issue will be if it's out before they begin filming the next season, though I'm sure he'd give them everything he has written if it's close. But I agree, I imagine it will be out before the next season begins.

Really hope it's out before or during the airing of S6.
If not, then we'll all be Hodors.

quote:That's the crucial issue. I think it's a given that he's told them the plot and resolutions, but if the show were to get ahead of the books, a lot of readers would not be interested in buying the next book, regardless of how radically the show departs from them. Say what you want about general literary appreciation. Most readers want to know what happens next in the story, when it comes to series like this.

He has to release the next book before HBO Season 6 begins. It's pretty crucial to his wallet, and it appears to be what we're all being jerked off toward.

which means he need to finish by the end of this year to get the book out before March of 16. He did say he would post on his website the day his book is a finished product.

Actually I sided with the daughter. They stuck her over in a foreign land, left her there for years, and you are surprised she actually calls it home and wants to stay? He'll, they have been more family to her than her own has been.

So what are the possible explanations for the title:
Littlefinger's gift for the Queen of Thorns
Jorah's gift for Dany (most likely, in my opinion)
Am I missing anything else?

Lots of gifts. Jon's gift of the Gift to the wildlings. The Sand Snake's gift of the antidote to Bronn.

Anyone else want to see Jorah vs Daario in the fighting pits?
Want.
Want.

That would be interesting to watch.
