Yeah Cersai is out of control.
Someone asked earlier about her end game messing with the Tyrell's like this because there's a house that's very powerful and all this. But I don't think she's thinking about the long game anymore. I think she's mad with the thought of losing her power and her children (not mutually exclusive). She's a control freak mother who condition has been more exacerbated because of being in such a high position of power. Like a CEO mom who controls everything at work and tries to control everything in the home and her children and whatnot. They go looney when they don't have that ability anymore.
So yeah.. I feel like her time is coming soon. I think all this with the Sparrow's and High Septom Sparrow is going to bite her in the behind very soon given Lancel's role in her atrocities.

all true. i also think they like to show the disparity btwn cersei and her father who knew how dominos would fall before he set them in motion. both he and littlefinger know the long con.
it's a gift in this world with so many moving parts. a gift she doesn't have.

Right. If they can bring in Loras and the dudes he's fricked, then surely they can also parade through the dudes Cersei has fricked outside of what is accepted (like her cousin, her brother, in and out of wedlock, etc.).

They're likely not gonna be on at all this season. I believe the creators said as much, which is weird.
I am hoping we at least get a glmipse of them in/around the finale to just see where they are at this point. Last we saw, Rickon, Osha, and Shaggydog were headed to House Umber and Bran, Hodor, Meera, and Summer were at that tree cave thing talking to the three-eyed raven (Benjen had gotten killed outside by those zombie things that arose from the ground).
Seems awfully weird to completely abandon those storylines for an entire season, for several reasons. One obvious to me is that these are kids/teenagers, so next time they're on screen, they will look so different because of puberty and all that. And secondly, they made such a push to Bran's storyline and made it seem so important (with his warging and the three-eyed raven and all that), only to completely ignore it for a year+.
Doesn't make any sense IMO.

Yeah I think it was slipped in an interview that they were "off" this season so their storyline won't be appearing.

Not surprised since the whole trip to Dorne sucks, could have been awesome but now it just seems like an excuse to get Jamie out of KL so Cersei can go on a power trip with nobody around to stop her.
