Stannis also corrects Davos in season two episode 4. Davos says he has four less nails to clean now that his fingers were cut off, and Stannis corrects him and says fewer. Apparently, Stannis is a champion of the proper use of the less/fewer grammar rule.

I'm just saying what I think based on what was said.

Makes sense. But I'd have to hear Jon Snow sing before I could be sure.
you do know that that is one of the most widely known theories and has been around for a long time huh?

Maybe ultimately but he wouldn't be much without her in the first place so it's a risk worth taking.

I do now, but since I've never read anything or watched anything other than the show, it was the first time to me that it was laid out there.

I knew he wasn't just Neds bastard from season 1 when Ned dodged questions about who his mother was to both Jon and Robert when Ned was headed to KL to become Hand and Jon was headed to Wall.

You may have suspected he wasn't "just Ned's bastard" but no way you deduced R + L = J or whatever.

I dont know what to tell you. You can check my search history if you care. But I've not read the books, nor will I buy/read them until GRRM finishes them.

I'm not buying/reading all the books only to have that fat frick have a heart attack before finishing the story and trolling the hell out of everyone.

Jon Snow. He's got to kill the boy inside himself and become a real man

Littlefinger all but gave it away in the crypt.

If you haven't deduced that Jon Snow might have an interesting back story and is probably going to be involved in a twist then you may be right. But the fact that he's still alive and Rob Stark is dead tells me that there's more to Jon Snow. Or makes me think think so anyway.

But after season after season of this thread being a shite show full of people who just argue and don't even pay attention to the show, save a few, I waited several episodes before reading it this season and its just as bad and after checking out the middle ground thread. This truly is a thread full of half wits and people more interested in posting during the show than paying attention and using their brains.

Am I sure of the theory, no, but the show wanted to imply Jon Snows mother wasn't a simple farm hand or taven sloot. Ask Stannis, even he said "that wasn't Ned Stark's way.

This is like reading a 4th grader's reaction after just learning where babies come from.
