The way the scene was shot with Tommen looking back at the poor folk beginning to snicker in the streets behind him while he was contemplating on what to do made it seem like, if he chose to attack the "monks", the poor people would revolt and side with the monks & attack his guard from behind.
That's how I saw it anyways. The camera definitely focused on the beggars in the street beginning to stand and face the confrontation, so I assumed that meant if the king strikes, they jump in from behind on the side of the monks.

I'm curious to know whether Tommen knows why the poor folk were calling him "an abomination"
Joffery knew the rumors I'm pretty sure but idk if Tommen ever heard them
That would make sense as to why he backed down if he heard them calling him out for being a incest bastard and he got nervous about it.
But really some monks with hammers should be getting destroyed by the kings guard with armor and blades

This isn't supposed to be some revelation, but Tyrion is at the head of the boat and is the key to Dany controlling the dragons. Once he arrives in Meereen, look for badass moments to happen with the dragons.

Stuck by choice is what I mean. It was last season or maybe the very end of S3 where she said something like "I'm gonna stick around Slaver's Bay and rule for a while." She basically came out and said that getting to Westeros was no longer her #1 priority. I remember bitching about it in the episode thread that she did ALL this stuff to take back "her" throne/crown, and now all of a sudden she decides "Nah, I'm cool just waiting here in stall mode while nothing happens."
