I loved it when she said that.

I don't hate LF cause he's pretty badass. I just don't cheer for him. It's mostly cause I have no idea what his plans are. He's a sneaky mofo

She hid needle in the book also. D&D has remained true on that point.

That's what I was trying to say. I worded it poorly I was glad to see not only that they stayed true to the book there but to see that Arya is still conflicted about giving up her identity.

This is why I wouldn't be interested in Arya becoming a Faceless Man. I like her character. I don't want her to give up who she is in order to acquire the tools needed to kill everyone on her list. I don't want her to lose her personality.

I keep wondering how Arya's story will ultimately play out. She's learning how to become an assassin/faceless man but her list of people she recites for revenge is dwindling.

Will she ultimately return and kill someone important only to fade away like a faceless man? Or will she come out as arya in the end and reunite with her family?(doubtful).

I think the sample chapter was the beginning of the end of her bravos days. You can take the stark out the north but can't take the north out the stark

Possibly because he still sees himself as married and he doesn't want to be a bad guy.

I think his feelings for her is part of it. But I think it is more about how his father destroyed the love of his life not once, but twice; and the emotional damage that it has caused him.

Well, I think only the first was the real love of his life. I think he may have had some tender feelings for that last skank but I don't think it was really love if my memories of the book and earlier in the show aren't off. But yeah, Tywin fricked things up both times.

With that being said, do you think Ramsay is going to torture Sansa?
IMO. yes. Something big is happening according to the cat that plays Ramsay.

The book and show's versions of the Tyrion/Shae relationship are very different. The show made Shae out to be the love of his life who happened to be a whore.

Book Shae was a straight up whore and he knew it.

That was my take also when it came to how the show portrayed it.

I absolutely loved that chapter. I'm surprised it didn't get more praise on this board.

Yep. The only thing I think about it is he knows, that as a dwarf, he only has so much pull with chicks. His name and money is everything in this situation. He has to turn a whore, because he can't do that with a regular "lady."

That's why he is so loving to someone like Sansa. He knows it's terrible for her to be with someone like him, so he goes above and behind treating her with respect. He can treat a whore like a whore, but if he ends up seeing something in them he can try to 'turn' them into a lady

It will be very interesting to see what the show does with the Onion Knight.
