Are we expecting any shite your pant worthy moments in this episode? Prescreening reviews have been incredible.

I haven't had a chance to re-read the third book to get ready for the new season but I can't remember any "holy shite" moments early on. We should get some fighting between the Others and the Night's Watch. Maybe Belwas and Whitebeard?

I'm thinking we see Sam Slayer, Jon meet Mance, and Barristan/Artisan. I'm expecting mostly setup but I think it will be pretty intense, especially for non book readers. Oh and I don't think Jamie makes it out of this episode with both hands

Jesus, is all this going to happen in this episode? That's a shot load of important story lines.
Has Sam not become the slayer in the show yet?
I'm pissed I'm going to have to watch this after on HBOgo and not participate in the thread durin the show

Sam becomes tge slayer at the battle of the fist of the first men. Should happen this episode with the white walkers massing on it at season 2 finale

That would be pretty back the Jamie thing happened about half way into the book but they did move his story quickly last season.

I think they're doing away with Arstan Whitebeard. I'm sure they're gonna have Barristan in a hood, he'll kill the manticore, then take his good off and Jorah will be like holy frick
