Supposedly the smoke monster has been cast for this season to tie up some loose plot lines

Everyone could see Arya getting revenge on the Freys from a mile away.

I doubt very many people thought she would off Walder in episode 610 due to the fact that she was still in Bravos is 608.

quote:

Everyone knew that Daenerys would make it to Westeros.

Everyone knew she would get to Westeros eventually from the first book. Who in the hell didn't expect her to eventually get to Westeros? Hell, book readers have been frustrated for decades because her story has been going nowhere for way too long.

quote:

Cersei is definitely going to lose.

Again, who didn't expect her to lose in the end? She has a freaking prophecy in the books stating she's going to be killed for goodness sakes.

quote:

Snow and Daenerys will get married thereby completing the song of ice and fire and live happily ever after.

Now you are making a huge assumption that I think most book readers would argue that there is no way this is a possibility in the books, and I very seriously doubt Jon and Dany live happily ever after on the show. If you think this happens, then you haven't been paying attention.

I think Arya is going to cross more off her list but, like the rest of GoT there will be a reckoning. I can see Jaqen H'ghar tracking her down in Westeros and taking her out. He might even torment her with the waif's face for a few episodes to build tension. It will probably happen at a moment when she is trying to get back to a normal life or it might even be at a critical time where her death will be even more impactful. This show does do predictable story beats but it also subverts expectations with how it plays out and what the impact is.

Nothing like a heartwarming story of incest for that fairy tale ending.

Well in the books, Arya in her dreams would warg into her direwolf and kill the Freys. Waking up with blood in her mouth.

only took 20 years

He seemed pretty happy for her when she last saw him. I doubt this happens.

Plus, GRRM's wife threatened to leave him if he killed her off in the books, so I think she'll make it to the end.

Maybe that's why he can't finish the books, doesn't want his wife leaving him.

Well, I mean, every plot becomes clear when you approach the end. Some of you complain about everything.

You're a damn fool if you believe this.

I agree with this when it comes to dialogue, it was not great last night.

I disagree entirely. Last night's episode had some great moments. Nearly every conversation had me on the edge of my seat.

I don't see them killing her. I think that whole plotline is just to establish her assassin training.

Cersei is definitely going to lose. Snow will definitely defeat the white walkers. Snow and Daenerys will get married thereby completing the song of ice and fire and live happily ever after. The end.

Yeah, so predictable. It only took me one episode to predict that winter would come, and boom, here it is.

Did you think she would be the last one standing?

Snow will definitely defeat the white walkers

I think it will be Jaime Lannister

They will bang but that's it.

Exactly. She is using their training to kill people she personally wants to kill. Becoming "No One" is so that you are an instrument of the many-faced god where you kill the people that the many-faced god wants dead and only those. Those deaths are seen as sacraments to the many-faced god.

Well, her sitting in Mereen for the entirety of the show would just be a pointless story line.

Yeah, no shite. No one likes a story in which a psychotic bitch and a legion of hivemind zombies come out on top.

Probably. That dynasty is pretty big into incest. Not sure they live happily ever after, though. Dany seems a little unhinged sometimes, she could follow in her father's footsteps.

I think this is what you are supposed to think. Game of Thrones is all about people taking actions and then suffering the consequences in the reactions.

How would anybody possibly have guessed the person who wants to rule the Seven Kingdoms would return to Westeros? How would we have known it would happen in this episode with a cryptic title like "Dragonstone."
