Game of Thrones is Becoming Too Predicable [SPOILERS]

The writing of this show is cheesy without the book's text to fall back on. Everyone could see Arya getting revenge on the Freys from a mile away. Everyone knew that Daenerys would make it to Westeros.
Cersei is definitely going to lose. Snow will definitely defeat the white walkers. Snow and Daenerys will get married thereby completing the song of ice and fire and live happily ever after. The end.

I know that this is basically the walking dead with dragons

everything you stated could have easily been predicted just by the books

I'm curious how Sansa and Arya end up.

Not too predictable but it's something I am looking for now that they're 100% past source material
Martin is pretty great at surprising you, we'll see if the writers can do the same.
Last night was a really good episode and things seem to be moving in predictable directions but that's what martin would do before he'd pull the rug out from underneath you. Way too early to say

Well they literally showed you her killing Frey seconds before the scene, so congrats on knowing what they intented you to know. You're so clever.

Didn't they kind of point out over and over that was her destination the last 6 seasons, and then showed her on the boat heading over last episode? You think she isn't getting to Westeros in the book?
Post less.

I predicted there would be multiple useless Game of Thrones threads.

She still has some voyage left in her, pretty good possibility that not all her allies make it across from Dragonstone to the mainland. Especially since Euron needs a gift.

I agree with this when it comes to dialogue, it was not great last night. However, this show is excellent at subverting expectations, and I don't expect that to end now. Just wait and see.

Yes, most stories have a conclusion. Thanks for pointing this out. The devil is in the details. Who lives, who dies. Who does what. I'm enjoying the ride.

Thats been a problem on the show for the last 2 seasons.
I just finished rewatching the series and I forgot how much of a turkey season 5 and even last season was until the last 2 episodes.

It's like you haven't read a single book or watched a single episode.......

What lead you to believe that?? Was it because she has been constantly saying she was going to kill him since Season 3? Not like they were hiding it genius.

Welp, I guess there's no point in watching anymore. You've convinced me. It was a good run GoT, I enjoyed it while it lasted.

People like you are annoying. We are coming to the last 13 episodes of the show and they have to start wrapping it up. Every good story has foreshadowing. It's one of the most important literary devices, which is used so readers and watchers can form opinions of what is coming.
GOT just happens to have thousands of people, every day, analyzing and posting some theory on the internet after a picture or preview comes out, so now they can't do anything that hasn't been discussed somewhere.
It's an amazing story with the best character development I've ever seen, and just because the main characters' story lines are finally coming together doesn't mean it is becoming "too predictable."
Also, I don't know if y'all can but I still have no idea how the whole thing is going to wrap up, and idk how anyone really would at this point. And if you say Jon and Dany end up together and she sits on the throne then you lose all credibility on here.

You're right. I hope that next week, a portal opens up and the Klingons come through to take over Westeros but for some reason, only 1 in 5 phasers works.
Then in 2-3 weeks (gotta keep it unpredictable), a cosmic event happens and everyone gets transported to the modern times on Earth.
That'll really spice things up and make it unpredictable.
tl;dr - sometimes, predictable is okay compared to the alternative. It's still about the journey, not the destination.
