Gained
-Stannis - his stock is climbling now that people have seen another side of him. It also doesn't hurt that he has a commanding presence and voice whenever he's on screen.

Lost
-Dany - even some of her fans are beginning to considering her story boring.

Dany lost most people last season.

If you were still holding on to that bore fest after 2 seasons of nothing, that's on you

Oh, another Danaerys chapter... time to go into skim mode.

I agree with your picks. I think people are still holding on to Dany because eventually she has to do something with the dragons, tyrion, and the unsullied. there would have been no point to include her in the first place if she is just going to hang out in mereen until the end of the books.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts on her.

I'll never forgive her for wasting so much screen time in the otherwise epic Season 4.

Ramsay. At first he averaged one chopped off weiner per season, since then he's dropped down dramatically. No other character has shown so much growth in not mutilating genitalia.

#TeamStannis

I also always thought Jon Snow was just a bumbling and brooding character with no excitement, but I'm liking him in his position of authority, being all loyal and what not.

Only redeeming part about Dany was the history lessons from Barristan. His POV chapter where he kills Khrazz and arrest Hizdhar was one of my favorite POV's in the series. So much awesomeness. But yeah the show killed him off

I'm with you on Jon. He is starting to make the hard decisions that a leader has to. When he called Olly to fetch his sword, I thought that was a huge step in his growth of being able to make the tough decisions.

Danny has, much to my disbelief, grown even worse. I didn't know it was possible. Pretty much the only time she was tolerable was when she was with Drogo and the times she used her dragons in Qarth and the place she got the unsullied. I'm hoping it gets better if Tyrion can get there bc that guy can carry the storyline. Also, pulling for Jorah the explorah to get some amends.

Sansa has made a 180° and I'm hoping Theon redeems himself.

Am I the only one who wants to see Ramsey tortured?

Agree that Dany didn't have much to lose. I think she might have actually gained a bit after feeding the master to the dragons. Part of me hopes that she'll go all Mad King soon and start slaughtering the haters. If she did, she'd shoot way up the chart.

Yep..Stannis is a bad arse.

Sansa is so much better after the first 4 seasons, but still can't shake what I once thought of her character

Sounds just like the book. Dany went from a wise and mature beyond her years badass mother of dragons to an immature 16 year old little girl. Not sure what led GRRM to change the very core of her character so much.

I dont understand the hate....she was a young girl put in a very shitty situation that saw her father get executed by her fiance.

The way Roose dressed down Ramsey to teach him some humility got him a lot of points in my book. With Tywin gone, he seems like the most imposing male character in the show.

I still can't believe that they agreed to allow her to stop taking off her clothes. WTF was HBO thinking.
