Loved me some Speedy Gonzalez as a kid. Used to rent the Speedy VHS a lot from the local movie store when I visited my grandparents.

Super Genius

I have that t-shirt.

I'll go with Daffy or Bugs. But they were just about all awesome though.

Also, I do dig me some Marvin the Martian...my ex from college, he was her favorite, so that made me like him even more back in the day.

I too enjoyed Speedy Gonzales greatly.

Daffy is also pretty amazing.

Wile E. Coyote is great.

Strong candidate for my second favorite.

I agree sometimes. As looney toones went on he got better. Towards the end when their animation style had changed from the super old school he got much much better. But his shorts with the chickenhawk are some of my favorite bits.

Oh, come on now. How is this even a question?

Bugs Bunny is a giant in motion picture/TV history. The other guys are all second string and below.

Bugs is the ultimate smartass, wise guy, troll king. He's someone to admire... all the others are there to pity.

Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheep Dog.

The way those cartoons were written was pure genius.

I can't believe you didnt pick a dog character.

Bugs Bunny, while possibly the most recognizable and in the most skits, is far from the best on the show. Especially because his skits depend on these "second string" characters.

I have to say Daffy and Foghorn were my favorite, it's sad that political correctness has censored what TV guide ranks as the 3rd greatest cartoon of all time.

What ya mean?

Foghorn shorts get regular run during the hour that Looney Tunes is on CN and Boomerang.

Yep. He's an Everyman in the sense that he's constantly being denied the one thing that he really wants, despite the fact that it's only natural for him to want that thing.

I always get a good laugh from the Seth MacFarlane short where Wil E. finally gets the road runner.
