As far as his characters I thought The Aviator was a disarmed, humbling role. He had to (at least for part of the film) be a complete weirdo surrounded by jars of urine and milk, and a partial weirdo for the rest. Not the best picture compared to Inception, but a strong portrayal imho.

Shutter Island however I think his performance in django was better

I agree with you here. I wasn't sure how to word the original message. I know he has better acting performances in other movies, but my favorite that he was a part of was Shutter Island.

With the internet blowing up about Leo potentially winning his first Oscar
If Leo beats McConaughey and Ejiofor for Best Actor this year, he will have undeservedly won an Oscar for undeservedly not winning an Oscar for past roles (The Aviator, The Departed).

Titanic. And I mean that truthfully. It's one of my Top 15 favorite movies.

His performance was not so great but I'm a sucker for big budget Hollywood epics done right. Titanic is right up there with some of the great ones.
