Can't watch that prologue in the US. Found an entertainment weekly article with it embedded the was playable here, but already got out of it.

I really don't understand the hate she gets. I think it's because she's a smokin hottie.
Her and Amy/Rory are real close for me.
I also loved Donna Nobme I thought she was Tennant's best companion.
There hasn't been one in the new series that I just hated.

I really think some of it is just that she's not Amy.
Another part seems to be that she gets criticised for being 'too important' to the story. People don't want to criticise Moffat so they attack Clara instead.

Who is this Morbius fellow im reading about? A lot of people seem to think its him, apparently because he was the enemy the last time this Karn lady showed up.
I'm not big on old who, so I miss a lot. Guess I should spend some time looking at Tardis Data Core.

My body is ready. My one fear is that I'll be so drunk after the LSU-Auburn game that I won't be able to follow the show. That happened a couple of times last season.
I just hope the next companion isn't a great looking young woman from the present day U.K. We need a little change of pace.

Oh, and I think they're going to air the prologue video on BBC America tonight. They're also re-airing a bunch of classic Fourth Doctor episodes including "Genesis of the Daleks" and "The Brain of Morbius"
The fact that they're airing those two is interesting. There's been some online chatter that characters from both of those episodes could be significant this season.

Reddit is convinced that Morbius is the character referenced in the first prologue.
And, im fine with a non model-type companion, but I really disliked Donna, so I don't want a middle-aged one either.
ETA: We should really have a spinoff thread ranking the companions' companions.

Donna was actually my favorite Tennant companion. 
I thought they had fantastic chemistry.
