Bonnie: I will not change my mind.

The Doctor: Then you will die stupid. Alternatively, you could step away from that box. You could walk right out of that door, and you could stand your revolution down.

Bonnie: No, I'm not stopping this, Doctor. I started it. I will not stop it. You think they'll let me go after what I've done?

The Doctor: You're all the same, you screaming kids, you know that? "Look at me, I'm unforgivable." Well here's the unforeseeable, I forgive you. After all you've done. I forgive you.

Bonnie: You don't understand. You will never understand.

The Doctor: I don't understand? Are you kidding? Me? Of course I understand. I mean, do you call this a war, this funny little thing? This is not a war. I fought in a bigger war than you will ever know. I did worse things than you could ever imagine, and when I close my eyes... I hear more screams than anyone could ever be able to count! And do you know what you do with all that pain? Shall I tell you where you put it? You hold it tight... Til it burns your hand. And you say this -- no one else will ever have to live like this. No one else will ever have to feel this pain. Not on my watch.

So, Sleep No More...

I'm just really glad that Gatiss is already working on the second part for next season.

Asian(?) Guy created a machine that allows you to live without sleep, but turns you into a "Sandman", which is apparently some "superior form of evolved human", because they don't need sleep. And then something about him and the Doctor being able to hijack into your eyesight, which I had no idea what was going on.

The main problem with this episode is that it needs to be a two-parter, and they're not giving us the second part until (maybe) next year. There are so many loose ends (for example, the sand getting in Clara, which, I'm guessing, they're never going to mention again) that you can't really judge the episode's story because we've only got part of it.

That being said...

Things I liked:

- How Clara was written
- You couldn't tell that they were reusing the set from the underwater episodes
- The GLADOS-like computer
- Having a reason for the 'found-footage' style

Things I didn't like:

- The monsters looked exactly like the Time monsters from Journey to the Center of the TARDIS
- The 'found-footage' style
- Lack of development for almost all of the characters
- If they were all the same 'camera', why was there such variation in look?
- Not enough Doctor
- It not actually being complete

It's a shame because the idea of a monster created from eliminating sleep has a lot of potential. It's just the idea of a sleep eye monster was so stupid. Anyway, I'm excited about next week. I read a detail I wish I hadn't known ahead of time that has me really looking forward to it.

That was the detail. Can't wait.

The next three episodes look to all be very promising - if sad and devastating when Clara leaves.

Didn't like the episode. However, I thought the whole story was bullshite to draw you in so you'd see the little flash at the end to reprogram your brain?

Face the Raven is getting stellar reviews. Very excited for the next three episodes.
