That's not ME saying this, but the studios and shills who tried to tell us that Phoebe Waller Bridge was soooo stunning and brave!

Indy 5 was hot trash, and everyone knows it.

They can't touch a Christian artifact in the modern movies because they don't want to risk non-Christians getting pissed. Not like Disney would bring Christianity into the movies anyway.

do we have any cool lost christian artifacts left?

Ones that people really know?

Studios are going to start spending less and less on movies over time. And I’m not disappointed about it anymore. I’ve seen enough giant cgi epics in my lifetime.

disney has also been sued a couple times for trying to hide profits to save on residuals and stuff like that.

I refuse to believe filming movies that are 80% green screens that disney owns are this expensive.

Not surprised, the movie was soul less.

It seem to be made up of a bunch of preview trailers that were taped together.

Dial of Destiny wasn't that bad.

The female role was annoying.
She was a shitbag person.

It isn't good moviemaking when one of the protagonists is a shite bag person with no arc.

That was the biggest flaw with the movie.
For what it is worth, I like Mads Mikkelson. And the Teddy character was good.

I liked a lot of the throwback Easter eggs in crystal skull. I liked making Indiana Jones comically old.
But those were the only 2 redeeming points of the movie. It was a bad movie.

How did Crystal Skull make that much money?

Indiana Jones nostalgia, the movie industry was still alive and well, and Harrison Ford was nearly 20 years younger and still semi-believable as an action star.

How was there an Indiana Jones 5 when there was never an Indiana Jones 4? I’m with you. I don’t count Temple of Dumb either.

I see the downvotes and don’t care. Crystal Skull was at least excusable for sucking because we knew Harrison Ford was obviously past his prime and could at least appreciate the movie as nostalgia.

Temple of Dumb was simply a terrible movie. From Spielberg’s couch casting Kate Capshaw, to the annoying little kid, the gross out monkey brains scene and the horrible story that movie simply sucked.

The ancillary market is nothing for this thing.

It was available as PVOD for about half a year before it was on Disney+. You don't think a single person rented it?

Why does an Indiana Jones movie cost 400 million to make now?

It wasn’t a horrible movie. The problem is Ford is 80 years old and that doesn’t make for an exciting adventure movie without extensive cgi.

Dozens of folks won't generate 10s of millions this thing needs to merely be an epic financial disaster as opposed to a legendary one.
